Growing up, the children’s books I read taught me that certain sports, like football, were for boys, and others, like gymnastics, were for girls. This idea made no sense to me as a child, and even less sense to me as an adult. I wrote this children’s book to break these gender stereotypes and show young girls that they can play any sport they want.
At the end of the book, they can find a poster with a series of stickers. Each letter corresponds to a sport and they can have fun composing their own poster.
