COC Jong&Out

Client: COC Foundation

Brief: Re-launch of Jong & Out, the first fully age-gated social media network designed exclusively for queer teens under 18.

Role: Art Director, across campaign concept, visual identity, film, photography, influencer activations, and digital assets.

Impact: After 8 months of hard work we delivered a multi-channel campaign including social, influencer partnerships, a custom Snap lens, and a refreshed brand identity, that resulted in generating more awareness about what Jong&Out is about and more community engagement and app sign ups.

Concept: The result is a campaign that places queer youth and their own experiences at the center. They articulate their own thoughts and followed no script, in order to position Jong&Out as authentically as possible as an online safe space that queer youth can shape themselves.

Working within an all-queer team, this project was a dream come true.

The redesign uses a vibrant, pride-inspired color palette and accessible, WCAG-compliant design to ensure inclusivity. Rounded logo and friendly type create a welcoming feel, while social media stickers and GIFs help teens engage online. Applied across mobile, web, and social channels, it builds a distinctly queer visual world that connects teens to support.

The influencer campaign part of the launch with big names int h queer community: Thorn de Vries, Marthe Woertman, Yuani Blindeburg, Tevin Themen, Arunya Gillot, and Ingrid Elida.
The creators shared personal "storytime" formats on TikTok and Instagram, detailing what they missed about being queer as teenagers and emphasizing the importance of having an age-gated safe space.
