Oedipus labels

This summer, @oedipusbrewing teamed up with @lowlands_fest , one of the largest festivals in the Netherlands, to brew an exclusive beer.

This beer captures the spirit of the festival, where thousands gather in a paradise-like setting, seeking transcendence and unforgettable memories. From dusk till dawn, people connect with vibrant energy, eyes sparkling beneath the stars.

Brand Identity for the Experimental Phase of the NO & LO Alchool drinks

Oedipus is venturing into a new No and Low Alcohol adventure, and from the experiment lab came some funky drinks that needed to be held together under one identity until they graduate from the testing phase and grow into their own standalone labels. That’s where I came in: I created a full system and visual identity for all these ‘wannabe’ drinks.

My approach was all about stripping things back to the core container. From there, we added just enough design to reveal the essence of what’s inside — letting the packaging support, not overshadow, the liquid. The concept is inspired by the idea of connecting the dots: these drinks are still experiments, moving step by step from one phase to the next as they evolve.

Grisette with brett

I designed this beer packaging concept for Oedipus’ Grisette with Brett beer. I was challenged to recreate the Californian swimming pool vibe of David Hockney’s paintings. I used a marbling technique as for the base of the design, then collaged illustrated elements and digitally retouched it to create the final product.
